嘉年华营自1986 年开始，至今已走过卅个年头。打从2011 年开始，这活动就跨团联营形式主办，每一年都为许多孩子留下美丽又难忘的回忆。

嘉年华营，顾名思义，就是像欧洲南美的嘉年华，一个充满欢乐笑声，一个让孩子们乐而忘返，一个别开生面的露营。我们一直不厌其烦的解释嘉年华营是像欧美的嘉年华一样，就是要让大家明白在嘉年华营里，必须是充满欢乐笑声的。在嘉年华营里，会让大家开心到忘了吃饭。在嘉年华营里，也会让大家认识到很多新朋友。在嘉年华营里，更会让孩子们尝试到很多新奇的游戏。当然，我们也不可让嘉年华营偏离我们的理念，不可让嘉年华营变成一个只有玩乐的生活营，在嘉年华营里，我们也要让孩子们学到一些课本上学不到的知识。

今天，我们每个工作人员都是创造这个传奇时刻的一分子，所以我们务必要尽力扮演好每个角色。我们整个团队就好比一部机器，而每个人都是这部机器里不可或缺的螺丝钉，不管这颗螺丝钉在多不重要不显眼的地方，只要缺少了这颗螺丝钉，这部机器就不能完美的完成任务。不管我们在什么职位，每个人都有自己的任务与功能，只有每一个人都扮演好各自的角色，这个活动才能顺利的进行。只有成功的把这个活动完成，孩子们才会真正的在这活动中受益。只有让孩子们正在体会到嘉年华营的精神，那么我们的付出才会有意义。

嘉年华营精神里提到的欢乐并不只是针对要让营员们感受都快乐而已，而是包括我们自己。要办一个那么大型的活动，那种幸苦与压力是必然的。但在幸苦与承受压力的同时，我们还是快乐的。所以我们必须重新调整我们的心态，要认真的把工作做好，也要认真的开玩笑… J。不要让情绪成为我们的主人，不要用脾气做事。从嘉年华营的筹备工作开始，我们就一直玩、一直笑，至到结束。我们要让嘉年华营充满笑声、充满欢乐、充满回忆。而这些都只有一个原因，因为这是我们的使命。

嘉年华营每一年都在成长，我们希望各位也会和嘉年华营一起成长。还记得童军创办人贝爷爷 （罗伯特·贝登堡 Robert Baden-Powell）的最后一封信吗？贝爷爷提到「真正的快乐就是先让其他人感受到快乐！」就以这句话和大家共勉之。

Carnival Camp has been held since 1986 and has now passed more than thirty years of history. Since 2011, this event has been co-organized across multiple groups each year, creating beautiful and unforgettable memories for many children.

As the name suggests, Carnival Camp is modeled after the carnivals of Europe and South America — a place filled with joy and laughter, where children can experience fun beyond imagination and enjoy a unique camping experience. We always explain that Carnival Camp is like a Western carnival: the atmosphere must be full of laughter and happiness. In this camp, children will be so engaged that they might even forget to eat, make many new friends, and try many interesting games they’ve never experienced before. However, we also ensure that the camp does not stray from our core educational purpose — it is not just a fun camp, but also a place where children learn things that cannot be taught in textbooks.

Today, every staff member here plays a part in creating these legendary moments. Therefore, we must strive to fulfill our respective roles. Our whole team is like a machine, and each person is an indispensable part of it. No matter how small or unnoticed one’s role may seem, without it the machine cannot operate perfectly. Everyone, regardless of position, has their own tasks and functions — only when everyone plays their part well can the event proceed smoothly. Only by successfully completing this event can the children truly benefit from their experience. And only when children feel the spirit of Carnival Camp will our efforts be meaningful

In the spirit of Carnival Camp, happiness does not only mean making campers happy, but also enjoying our own work. Organizing such a large-scale event inevitably brings hardship and pressure, but amidst the effort and challenges, we still find joy. So we must adjust our mindset and take our work seriously — but also be serious about joking and having fun. Do not let emotions control us, and do not let tempers guide our actions. Right from the preparation stages, we keep playing and laughing until the event ends. We want the Carnival Camp to be filled with laughter, joy, and fond memories — and all of this has one reason: it is our mission
